Organic SEO vs What Isn’t

Linking

Last time we talked about organic SEO. We said that for SEO to be truly organic the initial efforts laid out through organic SEO should see results that are truly effective in the sense that it builds on itself and results in continued effectiveness of the once planted SEO technique. On the other hand SEO that is not organic involves schemes that are usually automated in nature and that may produce astounding results in the short term but whose results usually wither in the end if not actually harm the website that employed the techniques. Note also that non-organic SEO do not even always yield good results even in the short term.

A good example of organic SEO versus what isn’t is in their approach to link building. Artificial SEO approaches the problem by thinking of ways to simply garner a lot of links. This huge hunger for links usually result in the use of schemes such as reciprocal linking, link farms, the purchase of text links, and more. The links and a higher page rank is the end to itself.

On the other hand organic SEO approaches the problem by thinking of ways they could improve the site itself so that other websites would want to link back to them. Yes garnering links are also recognized as important and so is the page rank of course but they are placed secondary only to the quality of the site. If an organic SEO will find the answer to the question then the links will come in by themselves without having to buy them or do other questionable stuff. And in the end as more websites link back to you so will more learn about your website and again link back. With organic SEO your inbound links is sure to grow.
