Keywords Tips Straight from Matt Cutts
Keywords, keywords, keywords. An eternal point of discussion in SEO. So it isn’t surprising at all that among other things Matt Cutts discussed the use of keywords last May at WordCamp San Francisco 2009. Here’s what he said keywords.
Use categories that are also good keywords – We’ve known this for a long time so there’s no real excuse for not doing this.
Don’t overdo it – The days of “keyword stuffing” are long gone. Organic content (with important keywords inserted several times) is still the best way to go. Make everything look natural.
Use keywords in url paths – The question with this part is what to do with key phrases. What kind of separators should you use? According to Matt Cutts:
