4. Visitor Demographics – A good businessman knows his client. In the internet though visitor demographics doesn’t necessarily mean your visitors age, sex, status, and stuff like that. Though it is good if you find that out what you can actually keep track of are pages they came from, their actual geographic location, the kind of browser they use, and the time drop by to visit.

5. First time and Return Visitors – Though you might have a lot of visitors it is important to know whether you get a lot of return visitors and the frequency with which your return visitors visit. This will tell you if your site is really interesting enough to go back to and in case your site is the type that comes up with something periodical you will see if your updates or whatever you are doing with your site is what’s really drawing the visitors.
