Metrics for Success Part 4

Last installment!!
5. Entry Pages – Keep a close eye on your entry pages. This will reveal which pages are contributing much to your site. You will see which ones attract the most number of visitors, which of the pages actually get visitors that stick, and which pages visitors usually leave as soon as they get to it. This will give you an idea on which pages need improvement.
6. Popular Pages – Find out which pages get visited and revisited most often. You are interested in the pages that get most traffic and the least traffic. You can improve the rest of your site by patterning the more unpopular pages to these pages.
7. Click Path Analysis – Analyze the path your visitors follow when in your site. This will help you understand and pattern your site’s navigation according to your visitor’s needs and habits as they try to delve deeper and find information they need in your website.
There are more stuff you can track and analyze to help improve your website. The seven I mentioned are really important though and will help improve your website significantly.
