Organic SEO

The term organic SEO has been tossed about so frequently but what it really is usually eludes the common person. SEO deals with tweaking one’s website to achieve a better page rank. The term organic connotes that something grows as by natural means. Now if Organic means natural and SEO means tweaking how can they go together? It seems like we have a contradiction of terms then.
Organic SEO is defined by the Organic SEO Wiki as the manual type of page optimization vs. automatic submittal and page alteration. The definition though correct is vague and does not satisfy me. After all if the definition is simply that then I guess it’s better to call it Manual SEO instead of organic SEO.
Organic SEO means more than that. It is set apart not by the manual means employed to achieve good search engine rankings but by the fact that the methods used produces results that grows naturally as a result of the first move. After employing organic SEO techniques you can expect your website’s page rank to grow probably not at once but in a way that will ensure the continued high page rank when you get to be among the top in SERPs.
Though this may seem to be too good to be true for some most organic SEO techniques really do work. As a matter of fact if you do want to employ SEO techniques and want long term results then organic SEO is the only way to go.
