SEOMoz Page Strength: The Number Two Factor

We’ve been discussing Technorati Links and what it can do for your blog’s popularity. Even with success in Technorati you can be sure that your number of links alone will not guarantee total success. Some blogs might have plenty of Technorati links but find that others who have the same number of links or sometimes even less (though the discrepancy shouldn’t be too great) get more traffic and subscribers than they do. This is simply because of the fact that as in anything else the amount of blog traffic is determined by more than one factor.

As mentioned in my post on the Best Predictors of Traffic, Techorati Links is the most weighty factor but there 11 other that also important. The next best determinant of blog traffic is actually your SEOmoz page strength. Ok. So SEOmoz was the one who did the study but don’t go thinking that the results are biased because once you get to know more about SEOmoz you’ll understand why they are important to the world of blogging.
